Richmond Hill Picnic The annual congregational and Sunday school picnic was held Wednesday afternoon and evening last week at Cedar Beach. Musselman's Lake. Despite cool weather, more than 100 sat down to a table laden with delicious food. and enjoyed themselves immensely. Prizes were given to the young- est person present, Ruth Fris- by, two-week-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Frisby; to the eldest person present. The. entire community wal shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Lion Past President Frank Williams. Lion Frank settled on the third concession just south of the town line about 15 new ago, developing one of the out» standing farms of the com- munity. Frank came to the district In a semi-retired executive of the W. J. Pickard Moving Company of Toronto. His kindly nature soon became evident by the helping hand which was ex- tended to his neighbours. The entire community was embrac- ed by Frank when he became a charter member of the Lions Club on its formation in May, 1959. TU. 4-1432 )r. W.
