From 1952 to 1957, Mr. Lunn was responsible for the modern Roman Verulamium Museum and the administrator of the ZOO-acre Roman city. including fortifications. houses and public ‘buildings. theatre, church, ‘tcmples, etc.; also excavations both within the fortress and of country houses and villas out- side. He personally directed the large scale Insula XIII ex- cavation in 1954-56 and Gorhâ€" 'ambury Villa in 1956~57. In 1957 Mr. Lunn pro- duced several historical and other film-strips for the Canadian Department of Citizenship and Immig- ration and three on Canad- ian History and Institutions for the government section of the Canadian Pavlilion at the Brussels World Fair in 1958. ' During his association with the Royal Ontario Museum. Mr. Lunn has been editor of all art and archeology publications. He was a regular panelist on CBC television series “Who Knows". and has appeared on several other television programmes.‘ ‘ Mr. Lunn thoroughly under» stands the problems of inter- preting history to the public visually and with imagination. Following graduation from the New College School. Oxford, he gained his senior matriculation with two distinctions at Magda- len College School, Oxford. He received an Honours B.A. 'in Modern History from Durham University, England, in 1949 and a post-graduate diplomaJn education from London Univer- sity the following year.
