Our genial President Frank Barrott wishes to express his deepest appreciation for the wonderful work the volunteer taggers did on poppy day. The poppy fund is a very important part of the welfare work of the Canadian Legion and last Sat- urday's success as poppy day will provide help to needy vet- erans over the coming months. If any of 'our members are aw- are of veterans in need of as- sistance it would be appreciated if this would be made known to Legion Court so that help may be given. In order for a group. such as our branch of the legion. to he- come of maximum benefit to a community it must bear its part of the burden of progress.
