In June 1964 a request to ban gravel pits in lots 1 to 5. concessions 5 and 6 was placed before township council. A year later, council was petitioned to pass a bylaw prohibiting the pits. Now a group of ratepayers from that district have appealed to the OMB because the council declined to act on the petition. Spokesman Clark T.
