It is proposed to erect a cairn to house the hell on the school grounds. At its April 13 meeting Vaughan Township School Board ap- proved its project and re- lieved A. The work will be car- ried out under the super- vision of the supervisor of buildings and maintenance. The board is planning to preserve at least part of the old barn which stood on the site of the new school at Kleinburg‘. The barn is being carefully dismantled and part of the exterior sheeting will be used in the auditorium of the new school. A Centennial project by the pupils and staff of Langstaff Public School will ensure that the old school bell, dated 1811. will be preserved for posterity.
