The trustees of ’J‘SA 2 iiiâ€" restigated the pOssibility of the campus development with Markham District High School‘ Board in the Unionville area. However. Chairman Mrs. Mil- dred Toogood advised at a reâ€" cent meeting of the 'I‘SA 2 board that the Markham board was not contemplating any new; high school construetion within: the next five years and thenl only an addition to its present. school would be needed. As a result. 'l‘SA 2 trustees. have agreed to proceed with negotiations for a school site on Concession 7 of the town- ship. north of Highway 7 on the Markham Village boundary line, where municipal water and sewers would be easily acâ€" cessible. Land in this area would be much less expensive than serviced land at L'nion- ville. Plans for the school. which are being drawn up by archi- tects Hicks.
