He was again stationed at Marylake in later years as shrine director and promoter of retreats. retreat house and a shrine in honor of Mary, and sent a small community to take over the new project. Five years later he was appointed prior of Marylake and served for a term of six years when he was called to Rome to be the econome general of the Augustinian order. Under his direction the retreat house was enlarged to its present size. He is also widely known for his re- treats to priests and religious throughout Canada. Father Moors was one of the pioneers at the shrine, a mem- ber of the original group. He served as bursar for the first five years and in 1953 was ap- pointed prior. The first sketchâ€" es for the new shrine and a drive for funds were initiated in his term of office. The new church and monast- ery was built when Father Hartâ€" man was prior. Threaten Stoppage Ambulance Service Unless Subsidized Rev. Kenneth Thatcher, who has served the parish of Emman- uel Anglican Church as rector for the past four years, will be leaving the community at the end of this month. He is going to Minden where he will he in charge of a three-church parish â€" St. Paul‘s. Minden; St. Steph- en's. Gelert, and St. John‘s, Boshkung. During his ministry at the church on Mackay Drive.
