An ambul- shoe had been summoned by Kostuik through a telephone service. An inquest into the death. held in Richmond Hill October 80, 31 and November 1. found that Mrs. Kostuik died as a result of excessive pressure by Kostiuk on her chest in a fit of emotion. Kostuik was taken into cus- tody following the inquest on a coroner‘s warrant charging culpable murder. That charge was withdrawn November 6 in favor of a mur- der charge laid by Richmond Hill police. At the time of the death. Kostuik was employed on the night staff of the YWCA hostel at the CNR yards, Concord.
