Giles, 136 Harding Boulevard, chairman of the combined Roman Catholic Separate School Board of An- caster was not successful in his bid for a seat on the new Went- worth County Roman Catholic Separate School Board, his par- ents learned this week. Local Residents' Son Ran For County Board Born in Bristol, England, Mr. Giles came to Canada in his infancy. He received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a Master of Science in Agricul- ture degrees from the Ontario Agriculture College in Guelph and is currently head of the science department in Ancaster High and Vocational School. He was elected to the separ- ate school board in 1967 and became its chairman in January of this year. He is a pari'shioner of St. Ann’s Church, is married to the former Irene Clair, and is the father of five children.
