20 After spending three and one half years as chairman of a three-man provincially appoint- ed Committee on the Healing Arts. Ian Downie of Bathurst Street. Vaughan Township has left on a one-year tour of the world. The committee's report. which was released by Premier John Robarts late in April. covered all phases of the healing arts from the medical specialist to the hypnotherapist. drawing at- tention to the strengths and weaknesses of various profes- sional bodies from the Ontario Registered Nurses Association to the Royal College of Physi- cians and Surgeons.
