Maple Minister Leaving In January THE LIBERAL, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Thursday, Dec. 3, 1970 15 The third and mast crucial. evening of the “Purple Pickle," Richmond Hill‘s first coffee house style drop-in, proved most successful last Saturday with a large number of local types showing up to enjoy an evening of relaxed chit-chat and loud sound. For the first time the en- tertainment was not live. but this lack did not seem to dis- courage the teenagers from en- joying the scene. Purple Pickle's Third Evening A Success As Teenagers Drop In A main concern of the com-‘ mittee in charge is that there is not a similar organization oper- ating on the east side of town, so that the types from the Bay- view area would not have to travel so far to be themselves. Committee members Brent King. Vicki Pugh and Carolyn Andrews have volunteered to meet any interested persons in the east to assist them in organ- izing a drop-in there. This will be necessary to alleviate the crushing attendance problem ‘developing at “The Purple iPickle." Next week the Pickle will once more feature a live local group. :Thinking About A Second Car? : I A“; r1-“ r1 _: I970 VAUXHALL DELUXE: w SEDANS AND WAGONS'!
