WI Gormley- Women’s Institute held its Christmas meeting Wed- nesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Robert Bremner with 14 members, two visitors and two children present. The four lovely calendars sent from the group’s link institute in Hail- sham, England, were given to Gormley’s four life members. Cards were brought by mem- bers to be sent to shut-ins. A donation of $5 was sent to the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. A new book of poems, “Essence and Other Poemsâ€, written by Mrs. Lydia E.
