James Ewing of Toronto. who was 94 years of age. He died suddenly at Sunnybrook Hospital July 20. St. John's had a service of morning prayer Sunday at which Lay Reader Leonard Lomas officiated. Brenda Ash sang the solo, “Sweetly And Softly". Church News The service at St. John‘s An- glican Sunday will be morning prayer at 10:30 am. Because of the washout of the planned parish picnic at Cedar Glen Conference Centre. St. John’s held its picnic at Eaton Hall July 2. The afternoon was very enjoyable with games, races and swimming. The races and games were directed by Harry Nelson. St. John's Young People's Group is meeting every Friday evening at 7 pm at St. Mark's Chapel in Oak Ridges during the summer holidays.
