Everyone who has entered is urged to arrange their matches for the earliest date possible. League action last week saw our “:8†team win at Henry Farms by four matches to two and that completes the schedule for that team as there is no match for us on August 29. Our Majors won here against Three Valleys by the same score. They have already played their one remaining scheduled match against Brampton so that now all the leagues have com- pleted their schedules. ' It is most unfortunate that none of the new courts in Crosby Park have been com- pleted this season. They are tough in the big ones. I really think picking up DeRuiter could fcurn out to be another key move by Manager Crlpps. Last year it was Pitcher Dick Hames who turned out to be a very key man. DeRuiter is a terrific hitter and a long ball hitter and he's consistently a good hitter. That's what the Jewellers need and I predict DeRuiter could very well turn out to be the Hames of 1972 for Dynes only in the swatting role.
