' Church News ‘ ' ' Sunday, September 17, the Church of Christ celebrated the ninth anniversary of the erection of the church building in Concord. Bible study was at 9:45 with anniversary services following at 11 am morning service, and at 7:00 p.m.. the communion service. After the evening service they had a social hour, with refreshments served. The response from parent volunteers in assisting the pupils and teachers at the school has been very good. There are parents working in the library resource centre every day. Their duties include mainten- ance of the library facilities, supervising library classes and assisting pupils with instruc- tional programs. - Principal Morris Mownrer, Great Lakes Christian College, was the guest speaker. In addition there is a list of parents who supervise the lunch period and accompany field trips. Many thanks to all those who responded. Vaughan Town Council in session September 11 agreed to contribute $750 to the 1972 Woodbridge Fair which will be celebrating its 125 anniversary on October 7. The money will go to help offset the cost of the free youth conrcert being staged. Council also agreed to declare' October 7 as officially Wood-' bridge Day throughout the municipality.
