hThe 'teachers and officers. pupils and parents of the Sunâ€" day school enjoyed a corn roast in the park Saturday evening. Those who failed to attend missed a real treat. The annual auction. rummage. produce and bake sale, spon- sored by the Victoria Square Lions Club and held in the hall and park on Saturday was very successful. The two baskets of flowers in the church Sunday morning were in loving memory of Warts (Jack) Gooderham. who was laid to rest in Westminisâ€" 1er Cemetery, Willowdale Satur- day morning. Rev. Martin Jen- kinson was in charge of the service. Mr. Gooderham was a cousin of Mrs. Harry Barber. and was a regular attendant at the local euchre parties. There was one sad note ~â€" everyone was sorry to have Ted Brown unable to be around. as he had had the misfortune to fall from the roof of the log house, some time ago. and had been in the hospital for a time but was able to be home to meet everyone.
