Last week was an exception, but that is not to say that there was any conspicuous lack of work. Teachers seem to adjust far more easily to a resumption of the old routine than students. _- 'I‘ v1. vu‘, v. ___- -_ At any rate, it was good to see Mr. Robert MacDonald back, again after a long illness. Speak- ing for the student body as a whole, we all feel that the school isn’t the same without him, and hope his health will enable him to continue his duties as vice-principal for a long time to come. Parents’ night, held Thursday last week, gave parents a chance to explore any problems they wished to discuss with the teaching staff. Decisions concerning the annual prom were also announced last week. Tickets will be $15 per couple for a sit down dinner and dance, to be held sometime in May at the Skyline Hotel. It is hoped enough people will sign the interested list to make the dance worthwhile, although it is perhaps too early to estimate the number who plan to attend. ,, A ..i .1. .a. Help Available For Farmers In Keeping Adequate Records Records for taxes are usu- ally on a calendar year and a list of livestock numbers, feed on hand and machinery is necessary if records are to be of any use. With more complex taxes, many farmers would prefer to have someone else do the bookkeeping chores, a time- consuming effort, but find it difficult to find a service at a reasonable price. Low cost farm accounting services often are short on both time and training. The senior, intermediate and midget boys’ basketball teams put up a very good fight against Bayview Friday, but due to some twist of fate, lost all three games.
