There was Home Coming good cheer and lively music at the Firefighters’ Beer Garden. Fire Chief Robert Kennedy, Musician George Cask and Firefighter Gerry MacMullin were there. The Richmond Hill Ball Association’s v Home Coming Week project was a float drawing attention to two big Centennial Year sports events, the ladies’ Canadian softball tournament Aug- ust 21 to 26 and the men’s international softball tournament August 2 to 6.
