Proposed School Locations Vetoed York County Board of Education last week turned down three proposed school sites. including one in the new BAIF Subdivision in Richmond Hill. The board agreed with staff that the potential 193 elementary pupils and the expected 70 secondary school students resulting could be accommodated in the Wood- bridge public and 'high schools. . Two of the proposed sites would be the result of pro- posed amendments to the Town of Vaughan Official Plan in the Woodbridge area. The BAIF project calls for a proposed condominium on 3.730 acres between Wel- drick Road and BAIF Bou- levard. Mrs. Milsted and Charleen were dinner guests Monday evening with Dr. and Mrs. Dan Edmundson of Agin- court. ' Raymond Holmes. elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Holmes, was rushed to Cen- tennary Hospital where an emergency appendectomy was done during Thursday night. The condominium would have 62 units with a projec- ted elementary school enrol- ment of 36 pupils and a pro- jected secondary enrolment of 15. It was felt that temporary accommodation at Ross Doan Public School and Roselawn Senior Public School could be provided until the con- struction of a new elementaâ€" ry school was justified. Cecil Banks slipped at work on Thursday and broke his hip. so he too had sur- gery in Ceqtennary Hospital. Rev. and Mrs. Eldon Boett- ger have returned from a holidw in the Martime Pro- vinces. ' Rev. and Mrs. Grant $1055 of Kitchener and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McDowell of Markham had dinner Tues- day evening with Mr. and Mrs. David $1085 for their grandson Andrew’s second birthday. Mrs. Elva Climenhage of Stevensville spent the wee- kend with Mrs. Garnet Francy.‘ Miss Cherlyn Hood enjo- yed a week’s holiday in Cal- gary. Alberta. Miss Elizabeth Dreisbach and several friends of Stan- ford University, Palo Alto, California holidayed with her aunt Mrs. Granet Fran- cy. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Suâ€" deyko of Downsview visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Metro Sudeyko. Miss Blanche Cassel of Preston visited on Sunday with her aunts, Misses Fre- da. Blanche and Ruth Hen- derson.
