The annual Gllmour Re- union was held recently in the community hall with 52 in attendance, when a good time was had by all. There were 17 tables of euchre players at the com- munity hall, on Friday eve- ning, October 19 at 8:00 pm. Everyone welcome! Church News It is hoped that at the next reunion which will be held October 5, 1974 at the com- munity Hall, there will be more in attendance. Sunday at 11:30 am is World-Wide Community Sun- day. The Communion Serv- ice will be conducted by the Rev. Charles Wamatu, ordained in 1965 by the Presbyterian Church of East Africa. Rev. Wamatu will be returning to his home in Nairobi, Kenya, in the spring of 1974, having completed two years post-graduate study in, Christian Education at Toronto School of Theology. A speedy recovery is wished for Mrs. Gordon Davie (Mar- jorie Barber) who underwent surgery last week in the North York General Hospital. STOUFFVILLE: Council last week gave approval for the South Lake Simcoe Conser- vation Authority to go ahead with a project to map flood- plain land in Whitchurch- Stouffville. Flood-line sur- veys will be done in urban areas and fill-line surveys in rural areas. Critical areas will be pinpointed.
