ANNUAL MEETING The Richmond Hill and District Minor Soccer Association will be holding its annual general meeting and election of officers at the New Arena December 6 at 8 pm. The public is invited to attend. Anyway, it’s good to see Ron back again. He has been a stalwart around the girls for a num- ber of years in softball and/or hockey. You need people like that: Over the years I’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of Ron. First he retires, then unretires, retires, unretires. But I don’t mind. I always like to see people coming out of retirement. I’m going to come out of retirement myself one of these days. As they say, they always come home to haunt you. The management of the Rams still has grim memories of last season when they sent'Rich- mond Hill’s Gordie Woolnough to Aurora. Gordie, playing brilliantly in the‘nets for the Tigers, killed, simply killed the Rams. Amen. Was happy to see that Ron McAndrews is back on the firing lines as coach of the Rich- mond Hill Gormley Sand and Gravel girls’ hockey team. And a winner, too. At least right now as witness those two weekend 3-0 and 5-2 wins over Maple and _Oak Ridges. A HUNTING WE WILL GO Another interesting sidelight to that 5-5 tie was the goal scored by the Rams' newcomer Benny Pedersen who is an Aurora boy who couldn’t make the Tigers. Sport Spots. . .
