The tradition of the Christmas Tree and the lights goes back many cen- turies, originating in Ger- many, introduced to the British Isles by Queen Vic- toria’s dearly beloved Ger- man born lhusband, Prince Albert, and brought to this continent by a succession of immigrants from both coun- tries.
