MINOR PEEWEES Thomhill 5 Richmond Hill 2 In this final game of the season the Thunderbirds killed a penalty to Stephen Mallett and scored the only goal of the first period on a pass from Ian Morrison to Kurt Pearson. Richmond Hill took a temporary 2-1 lead. Morrison deflected Scott Roberts’ shot into the net to tie the score. Cam- eron got an assist on this one. Then Paul Howson fin- ished off a passing play from Rick Selley and Jim Jones. Howson got another in the third unassisted. He joined the fire de- partment in 1942 as the township's sixth firefighter when there was only one station and two trucks.
