If we could have one life- time wish One dream that could come true We’d pray to God with all face Are a pleasure to recall; He had a kindly word for OPEN HOUSE *1w32 Rangers Blast Rams Win Going Away 7 - The first phase is expected to see 1,680 housing units, consisting of single family, semi - detached, quadraxes, townhouses and apartments, with 1,146 elementary school pupils and 569 secondary. The Rams just weren’t in the game on this occasion as Lhey were outshot 11-5 in the first period and came out of it trailing 4-2. Things didn’t get better. At_ present, all the single family (85), all the semi- detached (328), all the quad- raxes (112), and 62 of the townhouses have been com- pleted and occupied. It is not expeéted that any high density apartments from phase 1 will be conducted before 1976. In 1974 in Phase 2. it“‘is expected that about'50 single family and 98 semi-detached units will be built, plus a possible 346 townhouses and 175 apartments. This leaves two blocks of land for which the ultimate density hasn’t been decided, the board said. Completion of Phase 2 would bring the number of units up to 2.381, with 1,704 elementary pupils and 93’? secondary. The only glory in the game for the Rams came before the match started when in- divided club awards were presented. On an amendment by Trus- tee Donald Cousens of Mark- ham, the board agreed also to‘authorize the staff to take the necessary steps to speed up the building project in an effort to have it completed at an earlier date than Janu- ary, 1976, the tentative open- ing date. At present, all the single family (85), all the semi- detached, quadraxes, town- houses and apartments, with 1,146 elementary school pu- pils and 569 secondary. York County Board of Edu- cation January 28 approved a staff recommendation to seek building proposal approval in the amount of $806,500 to the Ministry of Education for" a new elementary school in the BAIF Subdivision of Rich- mond Hill. Proposed general attend- ance area for the school would be between Yonge and Bathurst Streets, ‘and be- tween Weldrick Road on the north and Carrville Road on the south. LED SCORING High-scoring Doug Caines and Bruce Anderson led the way with two goals apiece with single contributions from Steve Palmateer, Dave McKelvey and Brian Shutt. Bennie Pedersen and Steve Glover scored for the Rams. The fact that total shots on goal for both teams was even at 30-apiece was slightly misleading. The Rams didn't appear to have that many dangerous shots on Goa-lie Scott Csumrik. And when they did, they couldn’t fol- low up on the rebounds. Brian Stankiwiecz played the first p'eriod for the Rams and gave way to Doug Brum- well in the second. Emm- well finished the game. OMHA Week of January 20 ATOMS Unionville 4. Watch the papers for more definite informa- tion. The Rams' opposition is as yet unknown. Week of January 27 The requested change would read. “Although the Town of Richmond Hill did not re- spond to the request for an Official Plan amendment within the 30 day period al- lowed by the Planning Act, the municipality dealt with Mrs. Battle's application starting September 23, 1971. In fact, on January 24, 1972, the town passed Amendment No. 4 amending its Official Plan from “rural” to “rural estate" with respect to Mrs. Battle’s property.
