These grants will be available only if the municipality has enac- ted legislation for minimum housing standards, M a y o r William Lazenby reported. Last September council's planning committee had in- structed the planning staff to work on such standards to be included in the official plan and at council meeting March 4, it was agreed that the building inspector and the municipal solicitor be direc- ted to upgrade or redraft a bylaw proposed some time ago for presentation to coun- cll as soon as possible. ieighborhood Notes Happy birthday greetings ,0 Allan Breedon of Sixteenth Avenue who is celebrating 1is 12th birthday today (March 14).
