Charles Edwards of St. James Anglican Church, Sutton, the first buses started from the northern part of the region Over five hundred people from all over York Region took part in a demonstration march at Queen's Park last Friday, With the purpose of bringing the York teachers‘ strike quickly to a close Carrying signs, and, in some cases, balloons, the Richmond Hill demonstrators boarded a bus at the Rich- mond Heights Centre, where they were joined by other buses from Sutton, Aurora, and Unionville. Upon arriving at Queen’s P a r k, the demonstrators were addressed by Organizer Reverend Charles Edwards of St. James Anglican Church in Sutton. He, again, advised them to act maturely and po- litely in response to the speakers.
