Loaf Markham Telephone 294-5290 Neighborhood Notes Mr. and Mrs. Ken Stots spent a few days recently at ' Owen Sound and Kitchener. Mrs. William Champion en- tertained Saturday at a tea for her daughter Margaret, who will be married next month. Margaret has been a member of the Montessori School staff at Flaska Farms on Concession 2. south of Highway 7. Paul Steffler who is at- tending the School of Music at McGill University. is work- ing at Leitchcroft Farms dur- ing the summer and living with Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Sherman. Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Ste- phenson have been in Hali- burton vacationing at the Harvey Collard's cottage. Keith Hood and Don Bro- die arrived home from Kan- sas City where they travelled with the East York Barber- ’ shoppers to attend the Inter- national Competition of Bar- bershoppers. They placed' well in four categories but missed out in top prizes. Reg and Joy Crawford have had Dougie Crawford, Reg's brother, as their guest this month. Last weekend they returned with him to Ban- croft for a weekend with Reg's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Milt Sherman were among the friends who attended the Alick Garden- er's 50th Wedding Annivers- ary recently at their Keswick home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hooper Jr. are now living at the family ranch near Kirk- field. Mrs. Douglas Hood has been ill and last week was unable to attend the Button- ville WI picnic. The Donald Reesors have been vacationing in the Ken- ora district with Mrs. Rees-i or’s sister Marian and her family. the Jack Stephensons of Unity. Saskatchewan The Bob Hood family has been in that area also. WI Picnic Buttonville WI members and friends boarded a bus. Wednesday morning of last week for Haliburton country and a visit to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hooper Sr.’s cottage on Mitchell Lake. Hostesses were Mrs. Hoop- er. Mrs. James Rodiek and Miss Elizabeth French (for Mrs. May Hill) and the trail led into beautiful country through Whitchurch. Ux- bridge. and on to Kirkfield . on the Trent Canal where .
