King City Robbery Attempt Foiled By Alert Store Man York Regional Police offic- ers Monday night of last week scrambled to the Mac's Milk store in King City where the manager spotted two men in the parking lot with a gun. Arrested for conspiracy to commit robbery and attempt- ed armed robbery were Brad- ley Kelley, 21, and James Potts, 18, both of no fixed address. An apparently aban- doned pellet pistol was found. Kelly was also wanted by Snelgrove OPP on two out- standing committal warrants. Police got the call at 10:30 pm. Detective Sergeant Wil- liam Hay of 19 Division hur- ried to the scene with Detec- tive Dick Witteman and Con- stable Larry Leigh. They were backed up by Constables William Janes and John Rob- son.
