Mrs. Joseph Heise has re- turned home after spending two weeks with her son-in- law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Hall of Hagers- ville. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Em- prlngham and family of Moncton visited on Saturday in the community. Doreen. Sheila and Sylvia remained to spend a few days with their great aunt, Mrs. Em Hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Doner of Stouffvllle. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Doner and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bril- linger and family helped Mark Doner celebrate his second birthday on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Doner. Mrs. Delbert Baker is vi- siting her brother~in-law and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ern Baker of White Lake near Arnprior. A number of Gormley re- sidents are attending family camp at ‘Stayqer. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Al- len and sons of Atwood were also recent visitors in the community. Mrs. Beulah Jones is holi- daying for a week with her son and daughter-inJaw, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jones of Windsor. Miss Shirley Heise is spending July and August touring in India. A Everton Hilts passed away August 5 at York Central Hospital. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Hilts, and is survived by one sister, Mrs. Reta Apple- ton of Fort Erie. The fune- ral service was held Wed- nesday of last week at 2 pm at Heise Hill Brethren In Christ Church. Mr. Hilts was a Gormley resident for many years, but for the last few years lived in Maple. A Dale Doner spent last week with Rev. and Mrs. Willis Hunkjng and other friends in Kitchener. Mr. and Mrs. David Heise and girls of Wainfleet and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Heise of Ridgeway spent the week- end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Heise. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Chris- tilaw (nee Ruth Gooding), Scott, Tim and Allison of Blind River visited relatives in this area on Civic Holi- day weekend after attend- ing the wedding of their niece, Miss Karen Jones and Mr. Stephen McDowell in Stouffvi-lle Missionary, Church. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Baker and family enjoyed the long weekend with friends in Midland. 'Mrs. Joseph Heise and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Heise attended the Baker reunion Saturday at Stayner when 150 relatives were present.
