Neighborhood Notes Blood Donor Clinic The decision to change the name to conform with the name of the regional muni- cipality was made at the June 18 meeting and approved by the Ministry of Education July 9. The name change of York Regional Roman Catholic Separate School Board from York County Roman Catho- lic Separate School Board will become official at mid- night. August 31 this year, board members agreed at the August 20 meeting. John Holditch is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R055 Hol- ditch of Islington and is a graduate of Ryerson Poly- technical Institute. Jill, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Fraser of King City, was an Ontario Scholar grad- uate of King City Secondary School and is now a third year pharmacy student at the University of Toronto. The Richvale Bantams won over the Thornhill Blacks In their game on Thursday. A reception was given by Mr. and Mrs. Grant Fraser at the Garret Room of the Old Mill. It was a small ga- thering of close friends and relatives with dancing after- wards to the house orchestra. Change Of Name Starts August 3| RC School Board To the organ sounds of “Praise My Soul. the King of Heaven", the bride accom- panied by her father, was preceded down the aisle by her sister-in-law Joan Fraser and her maid of honor Merle Allan. Following the service. a receiving line was held on the church lawn. The mother of the bride. Mrs. Grant Fra- ser wore a blue silk jersey shirtwaist with a wrist cor- sage of darker blue corn- flower -and tiny pink carna- tions. Mrs. Ross Holditch. mother of the groom, wore a gown of pale pink with a lovely orchid corsage. The happy couple are en- joying a wedding trip to Banff and Jasper and will" reside in Islington on their return. King City Scholar's Nuptials At Maple The bride wore a silk chif- fon, empire styled gown with a lace bodice. The delicate pleating at the neckline was repeated at the cuff of the full bishop sleeves. The full skirt was finished in a slight train. A shoulder length veil completed the ensemble as did the sheath of red roses and baby’s breath. Her two attendants wore long sleeved gowns of floral red and white silk jersey with jewel necklines. They carried nosegays of white spider mums and baby's breath. Tiny flowers adorn- ed their hair. The church was decorated with red and white gladiolas standards and white bows on the pew ends. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Ramsay Armitage with music on the organ by Val- erie Woods. The groom, John Holditch, was attended by his best man Robert Ellis of Ancaster, and his future brother-in-law Andrew Fraser.
