August 29 is a date to re- member as this is the Tues- day that a Blood Donor Clinic will be held in Rich- mond Hill at the Lion's Hall on Centre Street. It will be held from 2 to 4 in the after- noon and 6 to 9 in the even- ing. Since we all know how important blood is to our survival then why not give a pint? Neighborhood Notes Blood Donor Clinic The decision to change the name to conform with the name of the regional muni- cipality was made at the June 18 meeting and approved by the Ministry of Education July 9. In neither case was a starting date given. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Thomson of Duncan Road on their wedding anniversary on Sep- tember 2. Thé board's solicitor had advised that for legal pur- poses a date for the change should be set and the trustees agreed to follow his advice. The lovely sunshine of a quiet August evening shone down on Jill Fraser as she entered St. Stephen's Anglic- an Church in Maple to be- come the happy bride of John Holditch. Congratulations to the Richvale Bantams who won the “B” Championship on Sunday, August 18. The jubi- lant players ended the day with a celebration at Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Sawyer's home. The Richvale Squirt boys won easily over Oak Ridges Squirt boys with a score of 20 to 10 in their game at Ross Doan on Thursday.
