Library Visitor The other day a young man, Don Klaser from Detroit. turned up at the Thornhill Public Library, He was trying to find out someâ€" thing about the “Thornhill Toll Gate.“ He had failed to get any information in the Toronto Libraries. “But there wasn't a toll gate in Thornhill." he was informed. ‘ IIe disagreed politely. His great-grandfather had kept the Toll Gate. The librarian produced all the books on Thornhill and left him to his research. Fin- ally in “Vaughan Township" by G. Elmore Reaman. he found mention of the Longâ€" staff Toll Gate.
