The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Meredith Ash of RR 1, Gorm- ley. The groom. holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree, is a teacher in Peel County and is the son of Mrs. Sarah Luka and the late Fahim Luka of 185 Shouddra Street. Cairo, Egypt. Officia- ting at the evening ceremony was Rev. John Simmons. It was appropriate that music should play an impor- tant part in the ceremony. Edward. the bridegroom, is conductor of the Richmond Hill Ecumenical Choir and Brenda, the bride, is a fea- tured soloist with the choir. Edward had written a com- position for the entry of the bridal party, which rose beautifully to the climax of his bride arriving by his side. This was “The Wedding Song" and the Richmond Hill Ecumenical Choir sang it un- der the direction of James assistant conductor.
