September is the time for a lot of us to start back to our clubs and groups for another season of work and fun. Call me about the group you or your children go to. Perhaps there are others in the area who 'be interested in joining. We have many new neigh- bors who I am sure would like to become involved and make new friends. During its long history, the club, which gained its name from the plush red curtains that were donated to it, has received national fame through its many awards from the On- tario and Dominion Drama Festivals. Gerry Diver, who \avas musical director for the Red Barn Theatre at Jackson’s Point this summer, will direct. A cast of 18 will be used to tell the story of the club’s fourth offering, Celebration, April 4 to April 19, a story set in the north of Eng- land. Last play of the season is Don’t Start Without Me, May 30 to June 14, a look at modqn~ _man»ners,flmor_als and marriage. The Gingerbread Lady, the fourth work by humorist Neil Simon to be presented by the club, _runs from February 7 to February 22.
