Seneca King doesn’t just offer on-campus classes. but allows you to choose attend- ance in an off-campus loca- tion: Aurora. Keswick, Markham, Stouffvllle. Sut- ton and Thornhill. Registration for part-time subjects may be made by mail or in person, and a special registration evening for those wishing to consult a faculty advisor is to be held September 18 from 7 to 9 pm at the King campus. Silk screen printing on fabric, industrial diving, cabinet-making, orienteer- ins. explorations in phil- osophy, cooking as an art. caring for horses, creative writing and effective sell- in-g are also included in the wide variety of subjects offered this fall at Seneca's King Campus. And there are more than 150 others that adults can choose either for' career development or for greater personal enjoyment. Senior citizens are particu- larly interested in the large number of conveniently scheduled day classes with a registration fee of only $5 plus materials fee where re- quired. A special Saturday program for children 9-15 has been developed called Children's Art Experiences. providing young people with exposure to ceramics, paint- ing and other art forms. This is only one of six studios in the Visual Arts Centre. Introductory. inter- mediate a n d advanced classes are also available in ceramics. drawing and paint- ing, metals. photography and printmaking. Suede 8. Seneca King Adult Classes Another visit, October 9, involving both groups. will be to the Mackenzie House in Toronto. and for October 15. 16 and 17 an optional “Rendezvous With History" will be offered â€"- a three- day trip to historic Quebec. On October 2, both groups wlll travel, between 11 am and 3 pm, to Wentworth Pioneer Village near Hamil- ton for a private tour of the village and picnic lunch. Following the introduc- tory session on Canada's historical background, there will be a session on "Our Historical Maritimes" with special guests from the Can- adiana class members of the Mohawk College Maritime excursion. The ten-week series will be conducted from Markham Library from 1:15 to 3:15 pm Wednesdays and from Seneca College’s King Cam- pus, Dufferin Street north of King Sideroad from 1:15 to 3:15 pm.
