GILFORD: By 1979 the coastal Simcoe from Gilford north to Crescent Harbor should be serviced with a sanitary sewage treatment system at a total cost of $15 million. It has been recommended that a water line be put in as well at the same time, which could cost an equal amount. The province would sub- sidize up to 75 percent of the cost, and sell the services to the municipality at a gallonage rate. This is a splendid chance to get out and meet your neighbors. You will be assigned apâ€" proximately one block in the Bayview-Fairways area. Therefore you will need to go out once for an hour or two. Those interested in the canvassing can contact Mary Ann Pople at 889-7921. Let me add that the United Way helps people in Toronto and nearby area. Children through to the elderly receive its benefits. Some parents have asked me to ask car drivers to slow down near the school on Bayvicw Fairways, especially the five o'clock crowd. (That lets me out. I speed home at 4 o‘clock). Let me remind you that there still may be children playing at the school at 5 pm. The speed limit is 25 mph. which I admit is too slow for me. Nevertheless please be careful, especially when passing parked cars. 1/2†copper pipe Type“M†HARD windows Lots of 10 or more SAVE 20%!
