The first candidate to announce he was running for a seat as one of the two Richmond Hill regional councillor seats was Eric George of 413 North Taylor Mills Drive. He is a professional engineer with his own consulting business. Church aflicial board meets Dec. 4 The theme was, “Mission To-Day". A film, “Operation Friendship" concerning a project in Kingston, Jamaica, was shown and was greatly enjoyed by all giving much food for thought. The Official Board meeting of the Victoria Square Charge will be held in the church December 4, at 8 pm. All members please plan to attend. Activities for the children of the churchâ€"community are as follows: Wednesdays at 4 pm; Thursday at 7 pm: Saturdays at 3 pm. One of the musical groups appearing in the Richmond Hill Santa Claus parade November 30 will be the Centennial Accordion Band. It will be ac- companied by its own Majorettes. Both groups‘ home base is now Richmond Hill. Weekly practices are held at Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church every Thursday evening. Turkey Shoot The annual turkey shoot spbnsored by the Victoria Square and District Lions Gabe Elbert of The Studio That Comes To Your Home has a display of his photographic work in the branch of Canada Trust located in Hillcrest Mall this week. During the past few months other examples of Mr. Elbert's skill with a camera have appeared in the news columns of this paper.
