I don’t have an answer for that, and that’s why I don‘t recommend a curve ball for a beginner. The ball is ef- fective â€" when it hits the target. But with all the spin it has, it’s very difficult to hit the target with any degree of consistency. A slight change in speed of delivery can cause a large change in the size of curve. Next week the hook ball. A meeting of young citizens interested in competing next football season in the Metro Toronto Football League will be held Sunday at the Dairy Queen meeting room, Yonge Street North, Richmond Hill. Pat Buxton and Joe Durant have spearheaded the efforts to recreate football in the Richmond Hill area and players 180 pounds and under are urged to attend meeting Sunday at 7:30 pm To throw the curve ball is just a matter of rotating the palm of the hand inwards, from the bottom to the top of the ball during the forward swing. How do you control the curve ball? Sunday we’ll look at different types of deliveries. First we’ll look at the curve ball. This is one of the most effective ways of getting “mixing” action amongst the pins, but is also one of the hardest to control.
