hiiiafi spent most in Federal campaign Stephen Roman of Vic- toria Square, Progressive Conservative candidate in York North in the June Federal election, spent more money on his cam- paign than any other can- didate in Canada, says the national chief electoral officer. The millionaire chairman of Denison Mines Limited spent $108,759 in his second unsuccessful attempt to defeat Barney Danson, now in his third term in the house. Prior to this year‘s election Danson proposed a ceiling on election spending.
