One-day winter con- servation education programs are being offered over the next few months at Albion Hills Conservation Field Centre for students from grades 4 to 13. Complete line of clothing. parts 8: accessories “SERVICE AWARD WINNER" Winter centre for students The program includes a halfday visit to the Albion House, an authentic 1840‘s log cabin, where students are introduced to spinning, weaving, wood carving. cooking and candle making in pioneer fashion. Winter Project The second half of the day is spent at the conservation area farm, a modern beef- hog operation. Here students learn about various aspects of agriculture, from animal husbandry to farm economics. This part of the program is designed to complement school studies involving agriculture. AUCTION SALE At maple syrup time, students will have the option of spending half a day in the maple sugar bush. The remainder of the visit may be spent at either the {arm or Albion House.
