Reverend George French, Minister of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Maple, described the long weekend of May 16 to 19 spent at the Synod Presbyterian Youth Con- ference as a “fantastically inspirational weekend”. He and 16 young people from Maple attended the con- ference held at Camp Glenmohr. near Beaverton and became part of a group of 130. Reverend French was the speaker at the conference. Reverend George French of St. Andrew's Maple, will be the speaker and his talk will be entitled There Is A Plus In Being A Christian. There will be folk music and all in- terested young people are invited to attend. The Maple Lions have had second thoughts and have cancelled the antique show scheduled for June 8 at the Community Centre. Next Friday evening (May 30), the West Toronto Presbytery will hold a Youth Centennial Rally at Humber Heights Presbyterian Church at 7:30 pm.
