For the past two years a program for selection, training and supervision of counsellors has been offered by the centres in Richmond Hill, Markham, Newmarket and Georgina in co- operation with Seneca College. Region family services is launching its third volunteer training program A selection conference will be held June 7 for the pur- pose of selecting a limited number of people to be received into the program for 1975-76, reports Dr. Frank Fidler, director of the Richmond Hill-Thornhill centre. Interested persons should contact one of the four centres before May 31. however. to allow time for formal applications and interviews prior to the conference.
