I mustconfess I‘ve been very lazy this past week. I’ll blame it on the ex- tremely hot weather we’ve been having. It’s simply drained my energy. Consequently I have very little to report: Still speaking about auctions, be sure to come to the auction tomorrow night in the Hilicrest Mall. I have looked at the bulletin board in the centre court, and there are a‘lot of terrific items that would please anyone listed for auction. The money you pay for these articles will be given to York Central Hospital, so try and come out tomorrow. It starts at 7 pm and goes on until 9 pm. The strawberry social held June 21 at the Rowland Burr Craft House was fairly suc- cessful. More than 100 people showed up to enjoy the strawberries, good music, and, of course, bid on a variety of articles being auctioned. Happy birthday to Lynn Weaglepf Weldrick Road who clebrated her fourth birthday last week prior to departing for Winnipeg with her mother, Allison, and brother, Robert. Câ€"4 â€" THE LIBERAL.
