Airfield expansion protestgti An organization called Airfield Impact on Communities met last week to discuss the issue with MPPs Alf Stong and Charles Godfrey. Stong reported that the cabinet has been asked to consider a recent ruling by the Ontario Municipal Board which would allow a zoning change for a runway extension at Buttonville airport. Stong said he would present the residents’ views to the legislature.
