Agin- court. North York. Clairlea and Downsview. March 20, the boys from Epic Realty downed a tough Cedar Hill team 4-2. to advance to the “A” category of the tour- nament. Next came a two-game total point series against Agincourt Canadians. resulting in a 43 win for the Epics. Thursday. the Epics entered the quarter finals against North York Rangers who decided to default, giving the Epics a 1-0 win. Scoring for Richmond Hill was Jim Majury from goaltender Rick Warren. Friday, Clairlea came to play the semi-final game. However, the Epics won again by a 6-3 score. Scoring plays were by Scott Bartlett from Gary Carvin. Richard Hughes from Bartlett and Jim Majury. Hughes from David Plaxton and Jeff Josling. Rick Gerber on a pretty passing play from Plaxton and Bartlett. Gary Carvin on a wicked slap shot from the point. assisted by Bartlett, and finally, Bartlett from Joslin. The Epics advnced to the final against Down- sview and won 4-0. Epic scorers were Joslin assisted by Hughes and Bartlett, Plaxton on a great effort unassisted. Hughes from Bartlett and Dan O‘Sullivan and Bartlett from Len McVeigh and Carvin. Championship trophies were presented to the Epic boys and to team sponsor Bruno Artenosi.
