The final period saw the Tournaments crew scoring two more goals before they heard from the opposition again. Games will start at 9 am. and should be finished at 7 pm. There has been some very exciting hockey played in all age groups so make a point of attending this Saturday and enjoying some fine hockey. Congrats DeGeer At this point I’d like to congratulate Chris DeGeer on winning the trophy for most valuable forward in the midget tournament. We are all very proud of both Chris and all the players, coach, manager and trainer, for their fine per- formances. It was the last of many sessions and I would like to thank each and everyone for their work and co- operation this year. They have enjoyed a fair amount of suc‘cess...and I know the players have, in general, learned more about the game. So thank you to everyone concerned. The lesson to be learned is to resolve right now not to be so stupid again. Tennis, like any other active sport, is more enjoyable and rewarding if you endure and withstand the physical demands it makes upon you. Now it only remains for me to convince myself.
