Hunting pressure on the moose herd will again be moderated by seasons placed between the rut and snow-fall. Most seasons will open on a Monday this year. Hunters may wish to use the weekend to con- siderable advantage by scouting their prospective hunting areas and planning their hunt. The Territorial District of Parry Sound, Provisional County of Haliburton. District Municipality of Muskoka, County of Renfrew and parts of the counties of Frontenac, Hastings, Lennox and Addington and Peterborough north of Highway 7 will be open to moose hunting this year. Moose hunt opensfaH .4 “These additional hunting opportunities should be welcomed by Ontario’s resident moose hunters," Mr. Bernier said. The primitive weapons season on the Aulneau Peninsula will be opened to non-resident moose hunters this year.
