OAK RIDGES -â€" The prospects of holding the Canadian swim cham- pionships at Lake Wilcox here this year has been broached by Jack Ramsden, president of the Ontario section of the World Professional Marathon Swimming Association. Ramsden‘s comments were made during workouts at the lake by long distance swimmers from Toronto including Gauci, Pat Stoffles, Kim Lumsden and Angela Kondrak. Gauci is preparing for a Lake Ontario swim this summer. Ramsden has been coaching swimmers at the lake for the past years and commented that it would be an “excellent locale for the Canadian championships†which have been held in Laval, Swimming, canoeing at Camp Richildaca RICHMOND HILL â€" A series of swimming and canoeing awards were awarded to campers from the Richmond Hill, Thornhill and Maple areas attending Camp Richildaca near Aurora.
