Local family wins Wintario $100,000 On an 7867 assembly line In 1959 the Redelmeiers, present owners of Don Head Farm, received a letter from Mrs. Constance Cook of Ithaca, New York, whose husband, Alfred, was a nephew of John Patterson, Peter's son. Mr. Cook, an en- thusiastic stamp collector. had been looking for a Patterson C.W., postmark for several years and finally found one in Boston. Inside the envelope was the following letter sent byherson to Mrs. Isaac Raymond, Poplar Ridge, Cayuga County. New York, and dated at Patterson April 21, 1867. Boss very nice The letter reads in part, “I arrived here Tuesday night at six o‘clock all safe and sound, and went to work next morning. There are about 60 men employed in the whole shop. The boss seems to be a nice man and the boys are the jolliest set I ever came across. “There is one regular boarding house where RICHMOND HILL â€" The Thomas Frame family of Richmond Hill-is $100,000 richer than it was a week ago.
