The weekend saw Magna playing back-t0- back games with Orillia winning at home by 2-0 and losing away Sunday by 4-3. Magna downs Ridges RICHMOND HILL â€"- The Richmond Hill Magna Midgets downed Oak Ridges 5-1 Tuesday night of last week with the whole team playing well. Ditto ,the goaltending of Brian Casey and Paul Shewchuck. Magna scorers were R. Roberts with two, G. Gentry, two and Mark Gossman. Assists to S. Taylor, J. Wood. D. Guard and M. Gossman. Shewchuck handled the goaltending chores at home and earned his shutout. Scoring for Magna were J. Tuck and Ray Roberts with Doug Anderson earning two assists. Richmond Hill ap- peared to have a letdown Sunday and didn‘t play up to its potential. They were also missing four regulars and this ap- peared to have an up- setting influence. They held the lead most of the way but {altered in the home stretch and lost 4-3. The Orillia team was sharp and took advantage of every mistake by the Magna boys. Scoring for Richmond Hill were: S.
