Novice Shutout Smith Other action saw the Oak Ridges girls blanking Nobleton 2-0 behind the brilliant goaltending of Janet Orser along with the entire team of only six players. ‘ I was fortunate to be present for much of the classroom presentations by the various instructors and part of the practical work on the ice. The topics covered by them are far too numerous to mention hereâ€"they covered eight hoursâ€"with a break for lunch. But the content of the topics, the depth and the logic has to be seen to believe. They were really excellent. I was impressed with the professional and academic approaches taken by all the CAHA members along with their very evident enthusiasm and enjoyment of their work. It would seem that many of our house league and OMHA coaches already know it all and have no use for further help to improve their skills. This clinic was brought to Richmond Hill at great expense and the op- portunity was here for anybody to at- tend and would also have been a good spot for many of our more critical parents to better understand what is going on. RICHMOND HILL â€" The red hot Richmond Hill badminton team made it six wins in a row without defeat as they thumped St. Clements 16- 0 in an Interchurch Badminton League game at Langstaff. Richmond Hill now holds down first place in the league and are the only unbeaten team. Richmond Hill had little trouble defeating Newmarket despite leading by only, 1-0 at the end of the first period.
